Jack McCarthy, Executive Director of the Massachusetts School Building Authority (“MSBA”), today joined with local legislative and school district leaders to cut the ribbon on a major addition and renovation project at Greater New Bedford Regional Vocational Technical High School.
The Massachusetts School Building Authority Board of Directors met on Wednesday, November 19, 2014. At the meeting, one District was invited into the Eligibility Period; one District was re-categorized to Feasibility Study; two Districts were invited to conduct Feasibility Studies; eight Districts, representing 13 projects were authorized to execute Project Funding Agreements with the MSBA; three Districts were recommended to proceed with their Preferred Schematic Designs, and one District was advanced to the Project Scope and Budget Phase. In addition, the Board also voted to approve the final audits and grant amounts for 18 projects: one Waitlist project, one addition/renovation project, four Accelerated Repair Program projects, eight Green Repair Program projects, one Feasibility Study grant, and three new construction projects.
