The Massachusetts School Building Authority (the “MSBA”) is pleased to provide an update on the status of the 2025 Statement of Interest (“SOI”) filing period.
Accelerated Repair Program (“ARP”) SOI submissions will be accepted from 10:00 AM on Monday, January 13, 2025 through 11:59 PM on Friday, March 21, 2025.
Core Program SOI submissions will be accepted from 10:00 AM on Monday, January 13, 2025 through 11:59 PM on Friday, April 11, 2025.
Submitting an SOI is the first critical step in the process to notify the MSBA of the district’s interest in the grant program and two options are available with the district responsible for selecting the most appropriate option. The Core Program is intended for new construction, addition, and/or renovation projects while the ARP is intended for roofs, windows/doors, and heat pump conversions in existing school facilities. The SOI allows districts to articulate its thoughts about deficiencies that may exist in a local school facility.
