Updates to the Municipal Construction Affirmative Marketing Program

The Massachusetts Supplier Diversity Office implemented a new virtual reporting platform, the HUB, to enhance transparency, strengthen industry engagement, and support equitable participation across all state-assisted design and construction building projects, including MSBA-funded school construction projects.
Please note that Owner’s Project Managers and Designers will be expected to utilize the SDO’s online reporting system, presently known as “The Hub,” and will be expected to adhere to all requirements set forth in M.G.L. c. 7, § 61, as well as any associated guidance from the SDO. The SDO is hosting "The Supplier Diversity Hub: Construction Opportunities” webinars where attendees can learn more information about the Hub. Please see the following email linked here from SDO for more information on how to register for these webinars.
To ensure goals are set properly, Municipalities should contact SDO.Construction@mass.gov or 617-872-4064 as soon as possible for assistance from the SDO in goal setting.
Please work with local legal counsel to review and implement the new SDO participation goals in procurement documents for design and construction services.
