The Designer Roundtable is comprised of individuals who currently provide or who wish to provide Designer services for MSBA-funded projects. The agendas for these discussions are developed based on input from the Designer community and are chaired and run by the individuals providing Designer services to discuss issues or concerns affecting school projects.

The Roundtable is being offered in the format of a panel discussion on Outdoor Learning. The facilitator for the event is Anne Brockelman, AIA: a member of the MSBA Board of Directors, the MSBA Facility Assessment Subcommittee and an Associate Principal, Perry Dean Rogers Partners Architects.
Presenters include Kristin Metz: Education Consultant, former Director of Education, Boston Schoolyard Initiative; David Berarducci: Landscape Architect; Kaki Martin ASLA: Partner, Klopfer Martin Design Group; Nancy A. White CPSI: Owner/Manager Playground Inspections of New England LLC; and Daniel Gutekanst: Needham School District Superintendent.
The presentation will focus on the aspects of outdoor learning, from how to incorporate outdoors spaces into an education plan, how the education plan ties to the building design, and several considerations related to everyday use, care and maintenance of outdoor learning spaces.

- As seating is limited, we ask that you RSVP no later than the Tuesday before the roundtable if you plan to attend.
- Due to space constraints, we must limit attendance to two people per firm.
- When confirming your attendance, please list any suggestions you have for future topics and the names of the attendees.
