Update to the MSBA's Total Project Budget Template
The following information replaces Project Advisory 84, from December 2023.
Please be advised that the Massachusetts School Building Authority (“MSBA”) has updated the Total Project Budget Template for Project Scope and Budget Agreements. The updated template is available on MSBA’s website and can be found on the Module 4 – Schematic Design page (under “Building With Us”) and on the Guidelines & Forms page (under “Policies, Forms & Guidelines”).
The Total Project Budget Template has been updated to incorporate revisions to the MSBA Project Funding Limits Policy, which was approved at the August 28, 2024 MSBA Board of Directors Meeting, effective for districts receiving Board approval of a Project Scope and Budget on or after January 1, 2025. For additional information, please review the Recommendation to Revise MSBA Project Funding Limits Policy Memorandum.
Please note that Total Project Budgets submitted to the MSBA in the previous version will be returned to the District’s Owner’s Project Manager for re-submittal using the updated Total Project Budget Template.
