The MSBA has issued a new project advisory: Project Advisory 36. This advisory provides an update on the change in OPM Report submission requirements. Starting with the June 2016 Owner’s Project Manager Report (“OPM Report”), as of July 1, 2016, the MSBA will no longer require that a hard copy of the OPM’s Monthly Progress Report be submitted by the 25th of the month following the reporting period. Instead, a single electronic copy of the report will continue to be due on the 12th day of every month with the enhanced feature of including attachments. The MSBA believes this update will facilitate the submittal of OPM Reports while reducing the number of reports.
MSBA project advisories are designed as informational updates for Districts, Owner's Project Managers, and Designers in an effort to facilitate the efficient and effective administration of proposed projects currently pending review by the MSBA and/or projects with a Project Scope and Budget Agreement or Project Funding Agreement.
