MSBA Regulations   *This document reflects revisions to 963 CMR 2.06(7), 963 CMR 2.09(6), 963 CMR 2.10(3), 963 CMR 2.10(8), and 963 CMR 2.18(6) that were promulgated on November 28, 2008 and revisions to 963 CMR 2.18 that were promulgated on October 17, 2009.

 

Proposed amendments and revisions to the MSBA's regulations

Summary of Draft Regulations:
The proposed amendments and revisions to the MSBA’s Regulations, 963 CMR 2.00 et seq., change the space standards for certain program areas including, Core Academic Spaces, Art & Music, Vocations & Technology, Health & Physical Education, and Dining & Food Service.  The proposed amendments and revisions also change certain design construction standards as they relate to classroom daylighting.

These amendments and revisions to the regulations (963 CMR 2.00 et seq.) will be promulgated pursuant to the rule-making authority conferred on the MSBA by M.G.L. c. 70B and St. 2004, c. 208, and in accordance with M.G.L. 30A.
